RETAIL STORES
Retail store equipment financing and leasing
A store opening is a hundred purchases with one deadline. The shelving, the counters, the POS, the scanners, the cases, the lighting and the signage all have to be in before the doors open and none of them earns a dollar until they are. Finance the build-out as one lease and open on schedule with the cash still in inventory.
What we finance
New or used, from any vendor, dealer or auction. Named manufacturers are examples of what this covers, not a limit — if what you need is not on this list, ask.

Why lease it
01
Open with cash in the inventory
The fixtures and the technology are the fixed part of a store; the inventory is the part that sells. Financing the fixed part over three to five years keeps the opening cash in stock, which is what a new store actually runs out of.
02
Fixtures, technology and install together
Shelving, POS, self-checkout, security and signage can be one lease with one payment, and the installation, the fixture plan and the freight go on as soft costs.
03
Remodel on the same terms
An existing store adding self-checkout, electronic shelf labels or new cases is financed the same way as a new build-out, with the old fixtures untouched and the new equipment on its own lease.

Questions retailers ask before financing a store build-out
Can I finance store fixtures and shelving?
Yes. American Capital Group finances gondola shelving, store fixtures, checkout counters, display cases and the rest of a retail build-out, together with the POS, scanners and signage, on one lease. Most retail equipment purchases are approved on an application alone, with no financial statements up to $150,000.
Can a self-checkout system be leased?
Yes. Self-checkout stations from NCR, Toshiba, Diebold Nixdorf and others are financed for grocery, convenience, pharmacy and general retail stores, usually on a fair market value lease so the store can refresh the units when the technology moves on.
Can a new retail store finance its build-out before opening?
Yes. New stores are approved on the owners, the lease on the location and the equipment being bought. The fixtures and technology are financed as one project so the store opens on schedule, and the decision normally comes within one business day.
Are electronic shelf labels eligible for financing?
Yes. Electronic shelf label systems from VusionGroup, Pricer, Hanshow and others, including the labels, the access points and the installation, are financed on their own or as part of a store technology refresh.
