MAILROOM EQUIPMENT
Pressure sealer machine financing and leasing
A pressure sealer turns a stack of one-piece mailers into sealed, ready-to-post statements at thousands an hour, with no envelope, no inserting and no one licking anything. Payroll bureaus, school districts, utilities and medical billers run one every week. Finance the sealer with the folder inserter and the meter as one mailroom lease.

Why lease it
01
Cheaper than the envelopes it replaces
One-piece pressure seal forms cost less than the envelope, the insert and the labour they replace. On a weekly payroll or monthly statement run the saving covers the lease payment, so the sealer is cash-positive from the first cycle.
02
The whole mailroom on one payment
The sealer, the folder inserter, the tabber and the postage meter are one lease with one payment, which is simpler to budget than three vendor contracts. Service agreements go on as soft costs.
03
Refresh when volumes change
A fair market value lease lets a growing biller step up from a desktop sealer to a production system at the end of the term without selling the old machine first.

Questions mailroom managers ask before financing a pressure sealer
Can I finance a Formax pressure sealer?
Yes. American Capital Group finances Formax FD 2000 series, Paitec, Martin Yale and other pressure sealers on their own or with the folder inserter, tabber and postage meter that make up a mailroom. Most mailroom equipment is approved on an application alone, with no financial statements up to $150,000.
What is the difference between a pressure sealer and a folder inserter?
A pressure sealer folds and seals a one-piece mailer printed on pressure-seal paper, with no envelope. A folder inserter folds documents and puts them into a separate envelope. Many mailrooms run both, and both can be financed on the same lease.
Can a payroll bureau or medical biller lease mailroom equipment?
Yes. Payroll bureaus, medical billing companies, utilities, school districts, credit unions and print-to-mail shops are typical pressure sealer lessees, and the application is the same one-page form used for any equipment lease.
How long is a typical lease on a pressure sealer?
Pressure sealers are usually financed over two to five years. A $1 buyout lease leaves you owning the machine at the end; a fair market value lease keeps the payment lower and lets you return or upgrade the sealer when the term ends.
