ROOFING CONTRACTORS

Roofing equipment financing and leasing

Tear-off crews used to carry every bundle up a ladder and every square of old shingle down. An Equipter under the eave, a hoist on the ladder and a welder on the deck do that work now, and they pay for themselves in crews that finish a roof a day sooner. Finance the equipment on a monthly payment sized to the jobs it lets you book.

What we finance

New or used, from any vendor, dealer or auction. Named manufacturers are examples of what this covers, not a limit — if what you need is not on this list, ask.

  • Roofing dump trailers, debris trailers and dump inserts
  • Hot-air welders for TPO and PVC — Leister Varimat, Weldy, Sievert
  • Mobile asphalt kettles and hot-mop equipment — Reeves, Garlock
  • Roofing nailers, cap staplers, compressors and hose reels

  • Crew trucks, service bodies and material trailers

Why lease it

01

Pay from the roofs it finishes

A roof buggy or conveyor turns a two-day tear-off into a one-day job. That is one more roof a week per crew during the season. A lease payment is a fraction of one extra roof a month, so the equipment funds itself from the first week it works.

02

Keep cash for material and payroll

Shingle prices move and suppliers want paying in thirty days, while insurance jobs pay in ninety. Financing the equipment keeps your line of credit free for material and wages, which is what actually stops a roofing company growing.

03

Season-aware payments

Roofing is seasonal in most of the country. Terms can be set with lower payments through the winter months and higher ones in the season, so the payment follows the cash instead of fighting it.

Questions roofing contractors ask before financing equipment

Can I finance an Equipter RB4000?

Yes. Equipter RB4000, RB4000 Dump, 3300, 5400 and 7000 roofing buggies and trailers are financed by American Capital Group on their own or with the hoist, welder and trailer that go with them. Most roofing equipment purchases are approved on an application alone, with no financial statements up to $150,000.

What roofing equipment can be leased?

Anything a roofing contractor buys from a dealer can go on a lease: roof buggies, shingle conveyors and ladder hoists, TPO and PVC hot-air welders, asphalt kettles, dump trailers, nailers and compressors, boom and scissor lifts, fall protection and the crew truck that carries it all. Used equipment qualifies as well.

Does a new roofing company qualify for equipment financing?

Often, yes. A roofing company in its first or second year is reviewed on the owner's credit, the equipment being bought and the work it has lined up. The equipment is the collateral, so a contractor with a clean personal file and a real book of jobs can usually be approved.

Can roofing equipment payments be lower in winter?

Yes. Seasonal payment schedules are available for roofing contractors, with reduced payments through the slow months and regular payments during the season. Tell us which months are slow in your market and the schedule is built around them.
