Ultrasound financing questions
Can you finance a refurbished ultrasound machine?
Yes. Refurbished OEM and third-party reconditioned systems are financed regularly, including GE, Philips, Canon and Mindray carts. A dealer warranty on the system usually supports a longer term.
Do you finance handheld ultrasound probes?
Yes. Handheld systems such as Butterfly iQ3, Clarius and Philips Lumify are financed, usually as a group of units with their software subscriptions rather than one probe at a time, to reach the ten thousand dollar minimum.
Can software and probes be included in an ultrasound lease?
Yes. Transducers, AI measurement packages, DICOM and PACS connectivity and the service contract can all be written into the same lease as the system itself.
Is there financing for a new practice buying its first ultrasound?
Yes. New practices are financed on the physician's credentials and practice plan as much as on the business history, so a first system for a new clinic is worth applying for rather than ruling out.
