MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT
Manufacturing equipment financing
American Capital Group finances the machines a shop floor runs on, from a single press brake to a full line. Structure the payments around what the equipment produces rather than around your bank balance.

Why lease it
01
Structures, not just a payment
Tax lease structures, equipment finance agreements and technology refresh options. An account manager works out which one fits the machine and the shop, and we finance the full delivered cost.
02
Match payments to output
A machine bought with cash costs you the whole price the month it arrives and earns it back over years. Leasing lines the two up.
03
Section 179 planning
Equipment placed in service can often be deducted in a single tax year rather than a little at a time. See how Section 179 works.

Manufacturing equipment financing questions
Can I finance manufacturing equipment?
Yes. CNC lathes, boring mills, drilling machines, shears, press brakes, laser cutters, saws, punches, conveyors, packaging lines and welding equipment are financed new or used, from a dealer or an auction.
Can rigging, freight and installation be financed with the machine?
Yes. Rigging, freight, foundation work, the electrical hookup and installation are part of what it costs to get a machine making parts, so they go into the amount financed rather than coming out of cash.
Do you finance used machine tools from an auction or a closing plant?
Yes. Used equipment from dealers, auctions and plant liquidations is financed regularly, usually on a shorter term. Because these sales settle fast, apply before the auction date rather than after.
Can a shop finance several machines on one application?
Yes. A multi-machine expansion or a full cell can go on one application and one schedule, which is simpler to manage than separate contracts with each vendor and usually faster to fund.
Know what you need?
An application takes a few minutes and most decisions come back the same day. If you would rather see a payment first, the calculator gives you a range without asking for anything.
