COFFEE ROASTERS

Commercial coffee roaster financing and leasing

Roasting your own is the difference between buying a product and owning one. The roaster is the start of it: the machine, the afterburner the city will ask about, the gas and the ventilation to run it, and the packaging line at the other end. Finance the plant as one project and start roasting on your own curve.

What we finance

New or used, from any vendor, dealer or auction. Named manufacturers are examples of what this covers, not a limit — if what you need is not on this list, ask.

  • Shop roasters, 1 to 5 kilo — Diedrich, Probat, Giesen
  • Production roasters, 15 to 70 kilo, drum and hybrid
  • Loring and other smokeless integrated-afterburner roasters
  • Fluid bed and hot air roasting systems
  • Sample roasters and quality control cupping labs
  • Catalytic and thermal afterburners and oxidisers
  • Destoners, chaff collectors and cyclone systems
  • Green bean silos, bin storage and pneumatic handling
  • Commercial grinders — Mahlkonig, Ditting, Bunn
  • Bagging lines, valve bag sealers and nitrogen flush
  • Roast profiling software — Cropster, Artisan, RoasTime
  • Gas plumbing, ventilation, stack work and install

Why lease it

01

The roaster is a fraction of the room

Gas piping, a stack, an afterburner, make-up air and the permits that go with them routinely cost as much as the machine. One lease covers the installed plant, not the crate that arrives on it.

02

Roast on your own curve, on someone else's schedule

Every week spent waiting to afford a roaster is a week of buying someone else's roast. A monthly payment lets the machine start earning the margin that pays for it.

03

Grow the plant a machine at a time

A 5 kilo shop roaster becomes a 30 kilo production roaster, then a packaging line, then a second grinder. Each step can be its own lease so the plant grows when the volume does.

Coffee roaster financing questions

Can I finance a commercial coffee roaster?

Yes. Shop roasters and production roasters are financed new or used, from any manufacturer or dealer, with the afterburner, destoner and ventilation on the same agreement.

How much does it cost to lease a coffee roaster?

It depends on the batch size, whether an afterburner is integrated and how much of the gas and stack work goes on the lease. Send the quote you already have and we will put a monthly payment against it the same day.

Does roaster financing cover the afterburner and the ventilation?

Yes. The afterburner, stack, make-up air, gas piping and install labour are soft costs and can go on one lease with the roaster, which is how most roasteries actually get built.

Can I finance a used coffee roaster?

Yes. Used and rebuilt roasters from a dealer, another roastery or an auction are financed the same way as new, and we pay the seller directly once you approve the invoice.
