Camcorder financing questions
Can I finance a professional camcorder?
Yes. Shoulder-mount and ENG camcorders from Sony, Canon, Panasonic and JVC are financed new or used, along with the ENG lens, batteries, media and the shoulder rig or tripod the body sits on.
Do you finance PTZ and remote studio cameras?
Yes. PTZ cameras, their controllers, mounts and the switcher or encoder they feed are financed as one system. Houses of worship, schools and corporate studios usually finance the whole room this way.
Can I finance a live streaming setup with the camera?
Yes. Streaming encoders, bonded cellular units, wireless audio, LED lighting and field monitors go on the same schedule as the camcorder, so the kit is financed as the working package rather than a bare body.
Can a freelance videographer finance a camcorder?
Yes. Freelancers and single-owner production companies are financed regularly. The application looks at the owner's credit and the work already contracted, so a young business should apply rather than assume it cannot.
